I bring the values of integrity, meaning and purpose, and relationship to my work. I do my best to be fully present in our sessions and I expect you to do the same. Our work together will involve developing an inner sense of meaning and purpose, and you will begin to experience life as more vibrant and rich as you practice a more mindful approach. Our therapeutic relationship provides a supportive and nurturing environment in which deep and lasting change can occur.

My passion for my work stems from my own continuing process of personal development. I feel a strong pull to help others to become their best self and believe that every individual has the ability to create an extraordinary life that is personally fulfilling.
I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from City University of Seattle in 2009. I am licensed by the State of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and by the State of Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Over the past 10 years I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups in diverse settings. Currently I work with adults and adolescents on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, life transitions, and personal growth. I also specialize in eating and weight-related issues such as emotional eating, poor body image, and other unhealthy ways of relating to food and your body.
I work from a client-centered perspective, meaning that I try to look with you at the world as you see it and hold your experience as valid. I use tools and techniques based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and also incorporate the practice of mindfulness in my work with clients.

in a bud was more painful than the risk
it took to blossom."
